Running with Ghouls is a community fun run offering a 5k and a 1 mile run or walk on the Canton Park District trails in Canton, Illinois. The course starts and finishes at Steve Nagel Park at Lakeland Park. The event is family oriented and Halloween costumes are encouraged but not required. Registration and extras
Registration for the 5k and 1 mile entries includes a long sleeve unisex shirt unless a participant requests no shirt. Participants who register by October 10 are guaranteed a shirt. Online registration closes October 24; in-person registration is available on race day with cash or check payment only and those registrants are not guaranteed a shirt. A Couch to 5k program is offered free to registrants with paid entry and is scheduled to begin the week of September 1, 2025.
