The FOLEPI River Trail Classic is the 36th annual running and walking event held in East Peoria, Illinois at 201 Veterans Dr. The event program includes bib and swag pickup on the day before and the morning of the event at the Fon du Lac Park District Administrative Center, and a post-race gathering at Mickie's Pizzeria.

Distances offered:

  • 4 Miles - competitive run with shirt or no-shirt registration options.
  • 2 Miles - non-competitive walk with shirt or no-shirt registration options.

Registration options carry different fees: shirt entries are listed at $40.00 and no-shirt entries at $25.00 for both the run and the walk. The 4 Mile race includes awards by gun time for overall places and masters categories, and age group awards by net time in the following divisions: 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 & Over. Age group double dipping is not allowed. The event also features illuminated trophies for select awards. There are no awards for the 2 Mile walk. A summer night cross-country meet at Detweiller Park in Peoria with races for kids, junior high, high school and open divisions. Packet pickup is race day only and registration closes July 23; parking is $10 per vehicle.

Experience the final race of the summer at Farmdale Reservoir in Washington Illinois. This five mile trail run features a mix of prairie woods and singletrack paths through a diverse landscape.

McNotagain Fall Trail Runs in Mcnaughton Park, Pekin IL on November 14, 2026 offers 3.5, 10, 30 and 50 mile races on a 10 mile loop run in reverse direction. The course has two creek crossings per loop and about 1300 ft of gain per loop.
