Farmdale Trail Run - October 10 and 11, 2026
The Twenty-First Farmdale Endurance Trail Runs will take place October 10 and 11, 2026 at Farmdale Reservoir near East Peoria, Illinois. The event offers multiple trail distances:
- 100 Miler
- 50 Miler
- 30 Miler
- Half Marathon
- 10K
The venue covers about 800 acres and is maintained by the US Army Corps of Engineers and volunteer organizations. The course includes single-track trail, service road and open prairie terrain.
Participants receive a shirt and a finisher medal. Finishers in the 50 and 100 mile events receive buckles and additional swag to be determined. Runners in the 100 mile race may drop to the 50 mile option by stopping at mile 50; the difference in entry cost will not be refunded if this occurs. Quitting at miles 60, 70, 80 or 90 is recorded as a DNF and will not receive awards.
Packet pickup is at Farmdale Reservoir, 810 W Bittersweet Rd, Washington, IL, on Friday October 9 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. If unable to pick up during those hours, arrive no later than 45 to 60 minutes before the race. Aid stations will provide a variety of food; participants with strict dietary needs should bring their own supplies. Pacers are allowed after completion of the first loop. Crew access is limited to the start and finish aid station. Camping is available beginning Friday at 3:00 PM and must be cleared by 1:00 PM Sunday. Porta potties will be on site. Trailers and campers require prior permission and space is limited. There are no refunds, transfers or exchanges. Registration closes September 10 at 11:59 PM CT.
