Farmdale Trail Run
The Twenty-First Farmdale Endurance Trail Runs are scheduled for October 10-11, 2026 at Farmdale Reservoir near East Peoria, Washington and Morton, Illinois. The site is an 800-acre area maintained by the US Army Corps of Engineers and volunteer organizations, with single-track trail, service roads and open prairie.
Race distances offered:
- 100 miles
- 50 miles
- 30 miles
- Half marathon
- 10K
Participants receive a shirt and a finisher medal. Finishers of the 50- and 100-mile races also receive buckles and additional swag to be announced. The 100-mile field may drop down to the 50-mile distance at Mile 50; competitors must stop at Mile 50 to receive awards if they choose that option. Awards are not granted for quitting at Mile 60, 70, 80, or 90; those are recorded as a DNF. Race fees are not refunded if a runner drops down.
Packet pickup is at Farmdale Reservoir, 810 W Bittersweet Rd, Washington, IL, on Friday October 9. Camping is available beginning Friday afternoon and campsites must be cleared by 1pm Sunday October 11. Porta potties will be on site at the start/finish area. Crew access is limited to the start/finish aid station. Pacers are permitted after completion of the first loop. Aid stations will offer a variety of food; runners with strict dietary needs are advised to bring their own items. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
