Spring Stampede 5K/10K - Hanna City, IL

The Spring Stampede is a trail race event held at Wildlife Prairie Park in Hanna City, Illinois. Organizers describe the races as inaugural; the 5k option was added in 2025. The event is sponsored by the Illinois Valley Striders and is part of the IVS Grand Prix series. The park admission for the day is included with entry.

The courses start at the main parking lot and run in a loop around the park using maintenance trails and some single-track. Water stations are provided along the routes. The 5k terrain is described as relatively easy. The 10k course is more demanding, particularly during the second 5k segment.

Awards are presented to overall male and female winners and to 1st through 3rd places in the following age groups: 0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
