Course, distances and facilities
The course follows an old railway line on a tarmac path. It is an out-and-back route on road/pavement with no navigation required and is described as flat. One lap is 4.37 miles and there is a 5 km turn point.
Distances and lap formats:
- 5 km - using the 5k turn point
- 10 km - two laps of the 5k lap
- Half marathon - three laps of the 4.37-mile course
- Marathon - six laps of the 4.37-mile course
- Ultra marathon - seven or more laps
Aid and facilities include a table at the end of each lap supplying water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of food. Toilets and car parking are at Skellingthorpe Community Centre.
