Run With The Kokanee is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah, WA. The event offers the following distances:

Entry fees vary by registration period, online pre-registration closes on October 16, and day-of registration is available by cash, card, or check. Registrations made by October 7 include a limited-edition tech T-shirt; a no-T-shirt registration option is offered at a reduced price. Youth runners under 20 receive a $10 discount applied automatically.
The event supports Kokanee salmon recovery work by the Three Rivers Chapter of Trout Unlimited. The chapter’s activities include protecting spawning access, educating fishermen and residents, and other conservation efforts. The chapter received a King County Green Globe Award for this work.
Course and logistics
The course is a basically flat 5k loop with about 67% paved park paths and sidewalks and about 33% dirt or grassy trails. Aid is available at about 1.7 miles into the loop, offering water, electrolyte drink, and a selection of carbohydrate-rich or salty foods. The event is USATF sanctioned, and under USATF policy dogs are not allowed on the course. Parking at the park requires a Discover Pass.
