The courses use well-groomed trails with gently rolling hills and forested sections. Trails are described as relatively wide and smooth with low to moderate climb and few steep parts. The half marathon follows a 6.55-mile loop twice. There are two aid stations on the half marathon course: one at the loop turn-around (about 3.5 miles into the loop) and one adjacent to the start/finish area. The 5-mile course has no on-course aid station; food and hydration are available at the finish.

Parking is primarily offsite at a Park & Ride about four miles from the start with shuttle service to the event; carpools of three or more may park at the Redmond Watershed lot while space is available. Pets are not allowed in the preserve. Horseback riders may be encountered and have right-of-way. Event apparel is available for purchase at listed prices.
