  • Half Marathon

Course, aid and logistics

The preserve features well-groomed, mostly wide dirt trails with gently rolling hills and forested sections. Both courses have low to moderate climb and few steep parts. The half marathon uses a 6.55-mile loop run twice. There are two aid stations on the half marathon course: one near the loop turnaround (about 3.5 miles into the loop) and one adjacent to the start/finish. Aid supplies include water, Skratch Labs electrolyte drink, gels, and one or two carbohydrate or salty foods. Five-mile runners do not have an on-course aid station; food and hydration are available at the finish.

Parking is offsite with a shuttle between The Golf Club at Redmond Ridge and the start; the offsite lot is about two miles from the start. Carpools of three or more may park at the Redmond Watershed lot while space is available. Pets are not allowed in the preserve; horseback riders may be encountered and have right-of-way. Trails remain open to other users during the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
