Run With Compassion 5K: Overview

The Run With Compassion 5K takes place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Starmount High School Cross Country Course, 2516 Longtown Road, Boonville, NC 27011. The event includes a chip-timed 5K run/walk and a short Pastor Dash sprint for local pastors. All proceeds go to Compassion Care Center to support awareness and free, life-affirming services in the community. To be assured of a T-shirt, participants must pre-register by Friday, October 24, 2025 at 12:00 noon.

Registration, fees and awards

Standard entry fees for the 5K change by date: $30 through November 1, $35 from November 2 to November 13, and $40 on November 14 and November 15. Participants age 15 and under receive a $5 discount on all prices. A group rate is available for teams of 12 or more with a $15 discount per runner; the race provides contact options for group registration. Waivers must be completed for all participants at registration. Awards include overall male and female 1st–3rd places, masters (40+) 1st place, and age-group awards for male and female divisions covering 6 & under through 35-55 categories.
