The Matchmakers & Mimosas event takes place on February 14, 2026, at Golden Road Vineyards in State Road, North Carolina. The event includes a 5K, a Sip & Stroll division, and a Virtual 5K. The Sip & Stroll division includes the same participant items as the 5K with no requirement to run.
Entry, course and logistics
Regular registration is listed at $35; prices increase after the listed regular registration deadline and higher fees apply for late and race-day registration. The in-person course is set in and around the vineyards and includes grass and cross-country style terrain. The event will use chip timing. Water stations are provided approximately every 1.5 miles. Packet pickup is available on race morning beginning one hour before the race start. Virtual participants can run where they choose, submit results by the stated deadline, and receive virtual packages shipped after the event (shipping in the continental US only).
Awards and participant items
All finishers receive a custom finisher medal and a complimentary mimosa; juice and water are available for participants under 21. Awards are given to top finishers overall (male and female), in Masters and older age categories, and the top three in five-year age groups starting at 10 & under through 80+. Team registration discounts are available at several group-size thresholds. Volunteers who meet the listed recruitment and attendance criteria may receive a $50 gift card.
