The Matchmakers & Mimosas 5K - Golden Road takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Golden Road Vineyards, 542 Golden Road, State Road, NC 28676. Course, timing, awards, and other details
The event uses chip timing for start and finish. The course runs in and around the vineyards on grass and cross-country style terrain. Water stations will be provided approximately every 1.5 miles. Packet pickup is held on race morning, beginning one hour before the race. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal and a mimosa; juice and water are available for participants under 21. Awards are given to the top finishers: Top 3 Overall M/F; Top 3 Masters M/F (40+); Top 3 Grand Masters M/F (50+); Top 3 Senior Masters M/F (60+); and Top 3 in five-year age groups from 10 & Under through 80+. A virtual option allows participants to run where they choose and submit results by the end of race day; virtual packages ship the Monday after the event to the continental US.
