Run to Remember takes place on April 18, 2026 in Piney Run Park, 30 Martz Rd, Sykesville, MD. The event offers multiple race options and is organized to honor club members who have passed. Proceeds support the club, its youth program, the Brian Lawton Athletic Academic High School Scholarship, and a portion is donated to the American Association for Cancer Research. Course and race details

The course is a 5.25 mile loop of woods and meadows, to be repeated as needed for each distance. About half the loop has a view of the lake. There are two places to pass a water stop on the course and a well stocked aid station at the transition of each loop. Race fees include park entrance, a race hat or visor, and a finisher medal; completing the 50K earns a custom mug. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in the listed races; the 8 Hour Challenge awards go to those who complete the most laps in the fastest time. The event runs rain or shine, all fees are nonrefundable, there is no race day registration, and packet pick-up details are to be determined. Optional apparel is available for purchase.
