The Patapsco Valley 50K is an annual trail event held at Patapsco Valley State Park with race headquarters at CCBC-Catonsville in Catonsville, MD. Logistics and policies

Virtual runners may complete their distance on a self-chosen course between October 24 and November 24, 2026; virtual entrants receive the same shirt, finishers award, and other swag mailed at no additional cost. Finishers awards differ by distance: 50k finishers receive a hand-thrown mug and 25k finishers receive a finishers medal. The park has final authority to postpone or cancel the in-person event; the listed weather backup date is October 25, 2026. Registration closes October 22, 2026. Refunds requested before September 24, 2026 are subject to a $30 administrative deduction; no refunds are issued on or after September 24. UltraSignup fees, taxes, and other charges are non-refundable. There is a 10-hour overall time limit; finishers recorded after that limit are listed as "Unofficial Finisher."
