Race details

The course is a scenic, historic, well-marked trail route run counterclockwise in 2025. The start and finish area is in the multi-use fields near the back of the CCBC Catonsville campus, adjacent to the tennis courts; participants are asked to park in Lot 6. The event uses five well-stocked aid stations and provides post-race food and drink.

All runners, including virtual entrants, receive a Brooks event shirt and an additional PV50K/25K logo premium item. Finishers awards differ by distance: 50k finishers receive a hand-thrown mug and 25k finishers receive a finishers medal. Virtual runners may complete their distance on any chosen course between the listed event dates and will have their shirt, finishers award, and other swag mailed at no extra cost.

There is a 10-hour race time limit; runners who finish after that will be recorded as "Unofficial Finisher." 50k runners who do not meet the first-loop cutoff will be asked to discontinue.
