The Patapsco Valley 50K is an annual trail event held in Patapsco Valley State Park with race headquarters at CCBC Catonsville in Baltimore, MD. The 2026 running is the 13th edition of the 50k and the 5th edition of the 25k. The start and finish area is on the campus multi-use fields near the tennis courts; parking is in Lot 6.

All in-person and virtual entrants receive a Brooks event shirt and an additional PV50K/25K logo premium item. The course is described as scenic, historic, and well marked. Five aid stations are provided and staffed by volunteers. Post-race food and drink are available. Finishers awards differ by distance: 50k finishers receive a hand-thrown mug and 25k finishers receive a finishers medal. Runners will follow a clockwise course in 2026.

Virtual participants may complete their distance between October 24 and November 24, 2026, submit results via the event website, and receive the same shirt and awards by mail at no additional cost. Patapsco Valley State Park retains authority to postpone or cancel the in-person event; a weather backup date is scheduled for October 25, 2026. Registrations cancelled before September 24, 2026 receive a refund minus a $30 fee; no refunds are issued on or after that date.
