The Patapsco Valley 50K is a trail running event at Patapsco Valley State Park in Baltimore, MD with headquarters at CCBC Catonsville, 800 S. Rolling Rd., Catonsville. The start and finish are on the multi-use fields near the back of campus adjacent to the tennis courts; parking is available in Lot 6.

All entrants receive a Brooks event shirt and an additional PV50K/25K logo premium item. The course is described as scenic, historic, and well marked, with five staffed aid stations and post-race food and drink. Finishers awards differ by distance: 50k finishers receive a hand-thrown mug and 25k finishers receive a finishers medal. Runners will follow the course clockwise in 2026.
Virtual runners may complete their chosen distance on any course between October 24 and November 24, 2026; finishers will receive the same shirt and awards by mail at no additional cost. Patapsco Valley State Park maintains final authority over the event permit; a weather backup date is Sunday, October 25, 2026, and if the in-person event cannot proceed entrants may be moved to the virtual category.
Registration closes October 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Refunds requested before September 24, 2026 are issued minus a $30 fee; no refunds are given on or after that date. UltraSignup fees and taxes are nonrefundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
