Dog Days 8K Cross Country Run
The Dog Days 8K Cross Country Run is scheduled for August 2, 2026 at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, MD. The event features a single race distance of 8K on the campus cross country trail. It is the fifth leg of the Annapolis Striders Championship series and part of the Maryland/DC RRCA Grand Prix Series.
Pre-registration is available online through July 29, 2026; registration opens May 21. Pre-registration fees are $10 for Annapolis Striders members and $15 for non-members. Race day registration is listed at $25 for both members and non-members. If a participant is already registered for the 2026 Annapolis Striders Championship Series, separate race registration is not required.
The venue address is Anne Arundel Community College, 101 College Parkway, Arnold MD 21012. Campus directions note the college entrances and that parking is in Lot D, the first right. Bib pickup and race day registration are located in Lot M on the third base side of the baseball field. An awards ceremony is planned for 9:30 am with prizes for top overall finishers, one masters, three in the 19-and-under category, and three in each ten-year age group for men and women.
