Rick O'Donnell Memorial 5 Mile Trail Run and Ultra Challenge
The Rick O'Donnell Memorial 5 Mile Trail Run and Ultra Challenge is an annual trail running event held on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Milkhouse Brewery at Stillpoint Farm in Mount Airy, Maryland. The event is organized by the Frederick Steeplechasers Running Club and takes place on local trails around the venue.

Net proceeds from the event benefit the Frederick Steeplechasers Memorial Scholarship Fund. The race raised over $5,000 for the scholarship fund in 2024, and scholarships are awarded in the spring to deserving high school seniors who reflect the character and integrity honored by the organizers. Since 2016 the club has awarded more than $60,000 to scholarship recipients.
The Frederick Steeplechasers Running Club has supported runners, hosted races, and volunteered in the Frederick community since 1975.
