Groovin' Woodstock Trail 7K 2026
Groovin' Woodstock Trail is a 7K trail race held at the Woodstock Equestrian Center in Dickerson, Maryland. The event uses horse and hiking trails and features a hilly course that circles open fields and runs into single-track wooded sections. Participants are asked to watch the footing for rocks, roots and mud.
The event is presented as a throwback to 1969, with 60s music and encouragement to wear period clothing such as beads, fringe or silks. It is organized as part of the MCRRC low-key race series.
Entry arrangements differ for club members and non-members. MCRRC members do not pay an event fee but must sign up for a 2026 bib and timing chip in advance; existing older chips can be exchanged and new members may be asked for a small chip deposit. Non-members pay a registration fee that includes processing: $22 for participants 18 and over and $11.60 for participants under 18. Online registration remains open through the start of the event and bib and chip pickup is available on race morning near the start area.
Volunteers staff the event and additional volunteers are requested. Monetary refunds are not provided for non-members; registrations may be moved to another MCRRC low-key event per club policy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
