The High Rock Mountain Running Challenge is a running event held at Pen Mar Park in Cascade, Maryland on August 30, 2026. The course is an out-and-back that starts and finishes at Pen Mar Park and includes an uphill section of approximately 1.8 miles to High Rock Overlook followed by a return descent, for a total distance of *3.8 miles*. Runners who finish receive an official High Rock Mountain finisher t-shirt. Registration opens March 23, 2026 and closes August 28, 2026.
