The Furnace Run Trail Run is a community festival event at Furnace Run Park in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, held on Saturday, August 29, 2026. Proceeds benefit the Friends of Shippensburg Community Parks and the event is part of the Cumberland Valley Race Series.

The 5k course is a single loop that runs around the park. Surfaces vary and include grass, dirt, and gravel, so participants should expect uneven footing. The course contains one seasonal stream crossing that is usually dry in August.
Timing for the event is chip based. Finish times are recorded from the timing chip, and gun time is used in official results. Participants are required to wear a timing chip on their shoe and their bib number on their chest; failure to do so may lead to disqualification. Timber Hill Timing provides race timing and backup measures are used if technical issues occur.
Entry fees and registration deadlines are published for each event. A guaranteed cotton t shirt is available for 5k registrants who register by August 16. The registration option Keystone Trees Not Tees directs a donation to the Keystone Tree Fund instead of receiving a shirt. Race day registration and bib pickup are available at Furnace Run Park.
