Mountain Creek Mayhem
Mountain Creek Mayhem is a trail-running event held at Pine Grove Furnace State Park in Gardners, PA. The event offers multiple distances on trails through the northern Michaux State Forest, with start/finish and headquarters at the Fuller Lake Day Use Area grassy field behind the bath house.

Courses use rocky single track, pine-needle carpets, grassy double track, sandstone boulder ridgelines, woodland savannah, mountain laurel and wild blueberry. The terrain includes technical, toe-grabbing forest paths and steep descents, with extensive viewpoints along ridgelines.
50K details: course length about 33 miles, elevation gain 4400+ feet. Aid stations listed at Miles 5.5, 10.2, 15.8, 19.7, 22.9, 26.6, and 30.2. One drop bag location is available at the Brickyard aid station (Mile 19.7). Crew access is allowed at Brickyard and Laurel Lake. Time limit 10 hours.
20 Miler details: follows the first 20 miles of the 50K, elevation gain about 3,000 feet. Aid stations at Miles 5.5, 10.2, and 15.8. No drop bag option and no crew access. Time limit 7 hours.
Half Marathon details: course length about 13.1 miles, elevation gain 1400+ feet. Aid stations at Miles 3.3, 6.9, and 10.5. No drop bag option; crew access at Laurel Lake (Mile 3.3). Time limit 7 hours; awards are based on lowest completion times and there are no separate hike or ruck divisions.
Aid station nutrition across distances typically includes water, electrolyte (Tailwind), Coke, ginger ale, fruit, potatoes or chips, Fritos, cookies including gluten free, gels/blocks/Stroop waffles, candy, Rice Krispie treats, pickles, occasional meatballs, and menstrual products.
