Run Minnesota Wirth Trail Classic

The Run Minnesota Wirth Trail Classic is a free community running event held at Theodore Wirth Park in Golden Valley, Minnesota. The event is open to all participants and focuses on providing a trail running experience within the local community. The race course consists of a scenic 1 mile loop that may include muddy conditions depending on the weather.

Participants can choose from the following distances:

Preregistration is required to participate in the event. While race day registration may be available if space permits, it is not guaranteed. Participants are instructed to park at the Wirth Beach Pavilion and walk to the check-in area located at the Quaking Bog parking lot. The Norwegian Foot March & Trail Run is an annual fitness event offering a 30K foot march, a 30K trail run, and a 5K trail run. It takes place at the Arden Hills Army Training Site and is open to the public and military community.

A Backyard Ultra at Elm Creek Park Reserve where runners repeat a **4.167 mile** loop each hour until one runner remains. The course circles Mud Lake, changes direction periodically, and uses a start area at the Bluebird Picnic area.
