Hidden Glen 10K

Hidden Glen 10K is an organised running event based at Monachyle Mhor Hotel, Balquhidder, with a main 10 km race and a separate 1 km fun run. The 10K route follows the banks of Loch Doine and runs into Monachyle Glen. The first 2 km of the route is on tarmac; the remainder is trail that can be muddy and puddly, so trail shoes are recommended. There are three water stops on course located at approximately 3 km, 6 km and 8.5 km.

Entry fees are listed as £28 for the 10K and £7 for the fun run. Every participant receives a medal. The 10K uses electronic chip timing provided by Perfect Timing Scotland; timing chips and race numbers are posted to participants ahead of the event. Medical cover and marshals will be present on the route. Facilities include toilets, changing tents, first aid, parking in nearby fields and race hydration from Active Root. Event photographs are provided free on the organiser's website and social channels.

Age limits are 15 and over for the 10K, and 5 and over for the 1K fun run, with under 5s able to run with an adult. The event recognises four gender entry categories and age-group prizes, with prize eligibility dependent on minimum entry numbers. Dogs are not permitted to run with participants due to insurance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
