Hidden Glen 10K

The Run Mhor - Hidden Glen 10k starts at the Monachyle Mhor Hotel in Balquhidder. The course traces the banks of Loch Doine and continues into Monachyle Glen. The route consists of two distinct sections: the first 2 km take place on tarmac, while the remaining 8 km are on trail paths. Due to the potential for mud and puddles on the trail sections, trail shoes are recommended.

Participants can choose between two distances:

  • 10 km
  • 1 km (Fun Run)

The 10 km race is open to individuals aged 15 and older, while the 1 km fun run is open to those aged 5 and older. Runners under 5 may participate in the fun run with adult supervision. The 10 km event features electronic chip timing, and participants can check their official times at a timing booth immediately after finishing.

Facilities available at the event hub include male, female, and disabled toilets, as well as changing tents and a baggage drop area. Parking is located in fields near the start and finish line, though these are not suitable for motorhomes, caravans, or low-profile cars. There are three water stations positioned at the 3 km, 6 km, and 8.5 km marks. Medical provision and course marshals are stationed throughout the route. All participants receive a medal upon completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
