Hidden Glen 10K
Hidden Glen 10K is organised at Monachyle Mhor Hotel in Balquhidder on Sun 25th Apr 2027. The event comprises a 10K race and a 1K fun run.
The 10K route traces the banks of Loch Doine and runs deep into Monachyle Glen. The first 2 km are on tarmac; the remainder is trail and can be muddy with puddles, so trail shoes are recommended. The route is fully marked with large yellow signs and supported by marshals and medical staff. There are three water stops on course at 3, 6 and 8.5 km. Electronic chip timing is used and results are published after the race.
Entry fees are listed as 10K £28 and Fun Run £7. Age limits: 10K entrants must be 15 years or older on the day; the 1K fun run is for ages 5 and over, with under 5s able to run with adult supervision. Prizes are planned for the top finishers in male, female, non-binary and other categories subject to minimum entry numbers, and age-group prizes are awarded where categories meet minimum participation.
Included in the entry fee are a medal, water at the finish, electronic chip timing, medical provision, race hydration from Active Root, free access to event photos and parking close to the start. Facilities at the venue include toilets, changing tents, first aid, and on-site food and drink. Dogs are not permitted to participate due to insurance.
