Hidden Glen 10K - Run Mhor

The Hidden Glen 10K event takes place at Monachyle Mhor Hotel, Balquhidder on 26 April 2026. The programme includes a 10K race and a 1K fun run. Entry fees are £27 for the 10K and £7 for the fun run. All participants receive a medal, water at the finish, electronic chip timing and access to event photos. Chip timing and race numbers are posted to entrants in advance.

The route follows the banks of Loch Doine and continues into Monachyle Glen. The first 2 km are on tarmac; the remainder is trail that can be muddy and puddly, so trail shoes are recommended. The route is fully marked with large yellow signs and supported by marshals and medical staff. There are three water stations on course at approximately 3 km, 6 km and 8.5 km.

Age limits are 15 and over for the 10K, and 5 and over for the 1K fun run (under 5s may run with adult supervision). Four gender entry categories are available: Male, Female, Non-binary and Other. Prizes are planned for top finishers in gender and age categories where minimum entry numbers are met. The event welcomes disabled participants who contact organisers beforehand. Dogs are not permitted to take part.

On-site facilities include toilets, changing tents, first aid, event parking in nearby fields and hot and cold food and drinks. Parking is not suitable for low cars, motorhomes or caravans. Deferral, transfer and refund rules apply with specific time limits and fees. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
