Trails are rugged and technical with roots, rocks and muddy sections. The course provides views of the Fraser River and the Fraser Valley. The 25K and 50K routes reach the two highest peaks in Sumas Mountain Regional Park and include flowing trail sections characteristic of the local rain forest.

Registration and logistics: full payment is due at registration and entry fees are non-refundable. Funds raised above the entry fee are tax deductible. Entrants may switch to a shorter distance at no cost, subject to availability, by notifying organizers one week before race day. Deferral to the following year and bib transfers are not offered. Early package pickup is available the day before at Valhalla Pure Outfitters in Abbotsford; race day packages are collected at the start and finish area.
