The Run for Water Trail Race takes place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 37799 Taggart Rd, Abbotsford, BC (Sumas Mountain Regional Park). The event lists 83 participants. Race courses and terrain

  • 10K - about 500 metres of elevation gain.
  • 25K - nearly 1,500 metres of elevation gain.
  • 50K - nearly 3,000 metres of elevation gain; the 50K follows the 25K route twice, with one loop run in the opposite direction.

The 25K and 50K routes reach the two highest peaks in Sumas Mountain Regional Park and include technical, flowy single-track typical of BC rain forests.

Registration and logistics

Full payment is due at registration and is non-refundable. Donations or fundraising above the race entry fee are tax deductible. Participants may switch to a shorter distance at no cost, subject to availability, if notified at least one week before race day. There is no deferral to the following year and bib transfers are not permitted.

Early package pickup is available Friday, May 29 from 2:30 to 5:30 PM (location TBD). Race day packages are picked up at the start/finish area; participants are advised to allow time to collect their package and prepare before their event.
