Run Across Georgia 2026

Run Across Georgia is a 277.2 mile run and ride that begins in Tybee Island and finishes in Columbus, Georgia. The route runs along quiet back roads through the plains of middle Georgia and features a generally gentle, sloping uphill profile.

The event can be completed individually or as part of a team. Running teams may include up to 12 runners. Riding teams may include up to 4 riders or be ridden solo.

Run Across Georgia is organized as a fundraiser. Beneficiaries named for the event are House of Heroes and MercyMed of Columbus. Organizers state that 100% of fundraising proceeds go directly to MercyMed of Columbus and House of Heroes. Participants are asked to raise at least $500.

All finishers receive finisher awards. Special awards are listed for most funds raised by teams and individuals, best dressed team at the finish line, and best dressed crew vehicle. Additional award categories may be added.
