Savannah Sultry Swamp Run

The Savannah Sultry Swamp Run is scheduled for July 25, 2026 at the Savannah Ogeechee Canal in Savannah, GA. The event offers multiple distances and takes place on trails that run through a tidal river swamp, sandhill areas, and portions of the historic canal corridor.

The primary course is a 3.1 mile technical trail. Surface conditions include single track sections, narrow and slick boardwalks, many roots, and sandy stretches. The trail is described as almost entirely flat. Live chip timed results are displayed on course.

All finishers receive a drink glass and a unique wooden medal made by a local artist. Top finishers at each distance receive 6 by 6 inch tile awards for the first three male and female finishers. The top two competitors under 18 receive 6 by 6 inch tile awards. The event features live music, a post race award ceremony, finisher awards, and a livestream of the race.

Race day packet pickup is located at the Boy Scout Field at the SOC Nature Center. Organizers donate a portion of proceeds to the Savannah Ogeechee Canal Nature Center; to date donations total $4,764.00.
