Event Information
The Bronze Dragonfly 30 Hour Ultra is a timed running event taking place at Lake Mayer in Savannah, Georgia. The event is held to raise money to benefit local counselors and help provide mental health care to those in need.
Course and Distances
Participants run on a 1.4-mile USATF-certified loop course. The terrain is described as half paved and half rubberized track. Runners can choose to run for 3, 6, 12, 24, or 30 hours. The event is chip-timed.
Awards and Policies
Every participant who completes at least one lap receives a finisher medal. Anyone who completes over 100 miles receives a buckle, with a different buckle awarded for finishing 100 miles under 24 hours. According to the event policy, there are no bib transfers.
Additional Details
Aid station food for crew members can be purchased via the event store, with a menu sent out approximately two weeks before the race. The organizers note they try to accommodate certain diets but advise those highly sensitive to cross-contamination to bring their own meals.
Pacers are not allowed for the 3, 6, or 12-hour events. For the 24 and 30-hour events, pacers are only permitted between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
