Yates-Astro Resolution Race and Trail Run
The Yates-Astro Resolution Race and Trail Run takes place on the 650-acre campus of Bethesda Academy in Savannah, Georgia. This event allows participants access to private grounds that are typically closed to the public, featuring a landscape of cattle pastures, marshes, a farm, organic gardens, athletic fields, and tree-lined paths.
The event offers two distinct distances:
- Bethesda 5K Trail Run (3.1 miles)
- Fun Run (for children aged 8 and under)
The 5K course follows marsh lines and tree lines, passing by cattle, goats, chickens, and the organic garden. Due to the natural terrain of the trail, the course is not suitable for strollers or pets. For younger participants, the Fun Run provides a short route around the Berne on Bethesda grounds.
All registered participants receive a pancake breakfast following the race. Children participating in the Fun Run also receive a cowbell. Race proceeds are directed to the Women’s Board of Bethesda to support the students at Bethesda Academy. The event is held rain or shine.
Packet pickup is available the day before the event at Fleet Feet Savannah or on the morning of the race at the Bethesda campus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
