Event Overview
The Yates-Astro Resolution Race and Trail Run takes place on the private campus of Bethesda Academy in Savannah, Georgia. This 650-acre property features a variety of landscapes including cattle pastures, marshes, farms, organic gardens, and tree-lined paths. The event allows participants to access areas of the campus that are generally not open to the public.
The following distances are available:
- 3.1 Miles (5K Trail Run)
- Fun Run for children ages 8 and under
The trail course follows marsh lines and tree lines, passing by livestock such as cattle, goats, and chickens. While the event is designed to be family-friendly, the uneven terrain of the trails is not suitable for strollers or pets.
Amenities and Logistics
A pancake breakfast is provided for all registered runners following the event. Non-participants may purchase tickets for the breakfast on-site. Participants in the youth Fun Run receive a cowbell in addition to the breakfast.
Packet pickup is available on the day prior to the race at a local running store or at the campus on the morning of the event. The race proceeds benefit The Women's Board of Bethesda to support the students at Bethesda Academy. The event is held regardless of weather conditions, and registrations are non-refundable.
