Girl Scout Island Ultra
The event is the first official Girl Scout Island Ultramarathon held at Rose Dhu Island Camp in Savannah, Georgia. The weekend runs 11/20/26 to 11/22/26 and registration closes on Wed, Nov 18 at 11:59 PM ET. Proceeds will support the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia and Rose Dhu Island through Rough Runners R4R Inc.
Race details include a 32 hour time cap for all distances and a measured 6.25 mile trail loop. The course is described as non technical and mostly flat with occasional roots. The event is chip timed with runners required to pass a timing mat each lap.

The 50k relay allows teams of 2 to 5 and lap splits are flexible. Lap counts by distance are 1 for the 10k, 5 for the 50k, 10 for the 100k, and 16 for the 100 mile.
Facilities and rules note one aid station, a cupless policy, water and GU Roctane hydration mix, and Girl Scout cookies at aid. Medical support includes an RN and AED; no analgesics will be provided. Camping options through the Girl Scouts include cabins, perches, and tent platforms for a fee; primitive or vehicle camping for ultra entrants has no fee if the director is notified one week prior. No RVs are allowed. Pacers must register, wear a bib, and are permitted after 50 miles with exceptions for older or pregnant runners. Awards include finisher medals for all distances, a 100 mile buckle, top gender awards, relay awards, shirts, and completion patches. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
