Event overview

River's Edge Ultra is scheduled for September 19, 2026 at Riverside RV Park, 51010 Range Rd 264, Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada T7Y 1E2. The course uses single-track trails in the North Saskatchewan River Valley in Parkland County and includes river crossings, beaver dams, steep inclines and declines, and natural river valley views. Net proceeds from the event will go to the Olive Tree Projects. Participants must read and agree to the event race waiver before being allowed to participate.

Distances and course

The event offers multiple distances that use looped circuits returning to the start/finish area. Loop lengths range from 9 km to 20 km. Distances include:

Registration and policies

Registration and volunteer sign-up are available online only. Racers and volunteers must register before August 15, 2025 to receive this year’s free swag, with sizes requested if apparel is offered. Gift certificates are available for purchase. Refund options: 30 or more days before the event, full refund less Race Roster fees or deferral; less than 30 days, refund of 80% less Race Roster fees or deferral.
