Rise & Run 5K : Overview
The Rise & Run 5K takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, and is presented by the nonprofit Friend to Friend. This is the event's 10th annual 5K. The main race uses a scenic trail course with natural terrain. The event includes post-race features such as live music, food trucks, and a kids corner. All proceeds support Friend to Friend and their programs for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

The listed entry prices are $35 for the 5K (previously shown as $40) and $22 for the 1-mile kids run. Registration opens December 31, 2025. Registrations on or before April 1 will be guaranteed a t-shirt; registrations after that date will receive a shirt if available. Packet and swag bag pick up is scheduled at Southern Pines Brewing Company, 565 Air Tool Dr., Southern Pines, NC 28387, on Thursday, April 24, and there will also be packet pick up and on-site registration available on race day.
