Ridge to Rails 50k, Half, & 10k : Old Fort, NC
The event offers three trail race distances in Old Fort, North Carolina, with the finish area at Camp Grier. Distances:

The 50k is a single large loop through the Mill Creek Valley using a mix of new and established trails and forest service roads. Named trails on the 50k route include Star Gap, Bernard Mountain, Kitsuma, Point Lookout, Copper Ridge, Rostan, Salt Gap, and others. The half marathon is a point-to-point net downhill trail route that descends about 2,500 ft over roughly 13 miles and uses Bernard Mountain Trail and Point Lookout Trail among others. The 10k is a figure-8 loop through the Old Fort Gateway Trail system on mostly smooth, gradually graded trails with short gravel connectors.
Logistics, support, and rules
Elevation and time limits are listed as: 50k ~ 5,700 ft gain/loss with an 11-hour limit; Half ~ 1,200 ft gain and ~2,600 ft loss with a 4-hour limit; 10k ~ 750 ft gain/loss with a 2.5-hour limit. Aid stations: five on the 50k, two on the half (miles 5.6 and 9.5), and one on the 10k (mile 3). Packet pickup is available Friday at Hillman Brewery (5:00 pm–8:00 pm) or race morning starting at 6:00 am at the race start. Half-marathon runners must use the shuttle to the start; there is no parking at the half start. Race rules include staying on marked trails, checking into aid stations, no pacers, and notifying a race official and turning in the bib if dropping.
