Table Rock Ultras

Overview

The Table Rock Ultras are trail running events taking place in Morganton, North Carolina. The event features two race distances: a 50K and a 30K. The event is restricted to participants aged 18 and over.

Course Details

The courses are described as featuring trails, rocks, hills, and creek crossings. Both events start and finish at Steele Creek Park and Family Campground.

The 50K course goes to the summit of Table Rock Mountain. According to the data, it has approximately 5,700 feet of total vertical climb and consists of 12 miles of single-track trail, 9 miles of double-track trail, and 10 miles of gravel.

The 30K course follows the same initial path as the 50K for the first part before turning around. It has approximately 4,000 feet of total vertical climb and consists of 8 miles of single-track trail, 9 miles of double-track trail, and 3 miles of gravel.

Aid Stations

Aid stations will provide water, Gatorade, assorted soft drinks, and foods like potato chips, pretzels, cookies, and trail mix. Participants are asked to bring their own water bottles or hydration bladders, as cups will not be provided at aid stations for water or Gatorade.

Participant Perks

All registered entrants receive a race T-shirt, post-race craft beer (for those 21 and older), and food. Finishers of the 50K receive a race hooded sweatshirt. Finishers of the 30K receive a medallion.

Accommodation

Camping is available at the start/finish location, Steele Creek Park and Family Campground. Participants can reserve tent, RV, or primitive camping sites, with a discount code available for some options.

Registration Policy

Refunds minus a $20 fee are granted up to 60 days before the event. After this period, no refunds are granted. Transfers or deferments are not allowed at any time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
