Shining Hope Farms Salute Trail Run
The Shining Hope Farms Salute Trail Run is the sixth annual trail event held at Shining Hope Farms in Conover, North Carolina on September 12, 2026. The farm covers 120 acres north of Charlotte and features miles of trails used for both the 5k and 10k courses.
Participants may walk or run either course. Distances offered:

- 10k Trail
Both the 5k and 10k are chip-timed and there will be an awards ceremony at the end of the race. Registration includes a t-shirt. After finishing, attendees may stay for food, drinks, and live music. The event raises funds to provide scholarships for the Saddles & Salutes Program and offers a crowd-funding option called "Become a Sponsor." Individuals who raise $1,000 to fund a scholarship earn a Shining Hope Farms YETI. The fundraising goal listed for Shining Hope Farms is $40,000.
Registration policies note that there are no refunds, that Race Management may cancel or modify the event for unfavorable conditions, and that registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to "Acts of God."
