Reggie Oeltjen Douglas Trail 11-Mile Race

This event is an 11-mile trail race held at the Douglas State Trail, starting at the Douglas Trailhead on County Highway 14 in Oronoco, Minnesota. The course follows an asphalt rail-trail that extends from Northwest Rochester to Pine Island and is shaded by a canopy of trees for much of the route.

The race marks its 50th anniversary, with the first Douglas Trail Race held in 1976 and the event renamed in 2017 to honor a longtime member and volunteer. Participants receive a race gift and post-race refreshments, including watermelon. Packet pickup is available near the start on race morning.
