Course & Terrain

The race offers two distances: a 5-mile course and a 10-mile course. The routes go through Frontenac State Park and feature rolling prairies, single-track trails, and climbs.

Event Details

This is a cupless event. Participants must bring their own water bottle or container. Water is available at the start/finish area and at a mid-way aid station on the 10-mile course. Snacks and fruit are also provided at the aid station.

Registration opens at 7:00 AM on race day and closes 10 minutes before the start. Participants must pay a park admission fee to enter Frontenac State Park, which is located 10 miles southeast of Red Wing, MN, or 5 miles northwest of Lake City, MN.

Parking for runners and volunteers is in the lot near the top of the park. Restrooms are available at the start and finish lines.
