Red Fox Trail Run 5K, 10K and Half Marathon

The Red Fox Trail Run is part of the Alpine Trail Race Series Season 3 and takes place at French Shelter Park, 7154 Knoll Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45237. The course uses off road trails through wooded areas and large meadow sections, and it follows routes that pass a creek known for fossils.

French Park features notable elevation gain. The main French Park route has 331 ft of total ascent. The French Park Short Loop records 154 ft of elevation gain.

Distances:

• 5K
• 10K : two loops of the 5K route
• Half Marathon : two loops composed from two different 5K courses

Event features include themed 5K and 10K races, finisher medals for all finishers, and a finisher t shirt provided for half marathon finishers. Custom t shirts for other distances are available for purchase and require signup at least 12 business days before the race to be available on race day; orders placed later will be shipped after the event. Costumes are encouraged and a best costume award is given at live races.

Additional details: walkers are welcome, no dogs are allowed on the course, entry fees are non refundable, a 4 hour course time limit applies, and a 15 percent discount is offered for participants under 20. All runners must register on RunSignup. Series points are awarded to qualifying race finishers and top series performers receive awards mailed on December 1.
