Rattlesnake Ridge Run
Rattlesnake Ridge Run is a trail running event held May 16, 2026, at Snoqualmie Point Park on Rattlesnake Ridge in the eastern Issaquah Alps. The ridge divides the Snoqualmie River Valley from the Cedar River Watershed and the course follows well-loved single-track trails.
Distances offered:
- 5K
- 5.8 mile
- Half Marathon
The route includes sustained climbs through diverse forest types and offers peekaboo views of the Snoqualmie Valley. Elevation gain for each distance is approximately 575 feet for the 5K, 1,090 feet for the 5.8 mile, and about 2,650 feet for the half marathon. The half marathon route circles past Rattlesnake Mountain West Peak, follows the Raging Ridge to the middle peak, loops past Grand Prospect, and returns to Snoqualmie Point Park with views of the Olympics and Mount Rainier.
Aid stations: the 5K has no aid station; the 5.8 mile has one at about 3.47 miles; the half marathon has stations at about 3.47, 8.07, and 10.85 miles. Stations provide water, Skratch Labs hydration drink, and a selection of carbohydrate-rich or salty foods such as energy bars, gels, chews, bagels, cookies, and bananas.
Registration uses tiered fees and includes a $10 youth discount for elementary through high school runners. Online pre-registration closes May 14, 2026. Parking at Snoqualmie Point Park includes a free lower lot that fills quickly; the upper lot requires a Discover Pass. Trails remain open to other users during the event; participants are responsible for their own safety. Dogs are not permitted on the course under USATF policy. Event guidance asks that people stay home if they have a contagious respiratory illness and recommends vaccination and the use of an N95 respirator in confined spaces when appropriate.
