Soaring Eagle Trail Run

Redmond, United States • 16 May 2026

Event details

Soaring Eagle Trail Run is scheduled for May 16, 2026, at Soaring Eagle Regional Park in Sammamish, Washington (26015 E Main Dr). The event offers the following distances:

  • 5K
  • 10K
  • Half marathon A separate Kids Race (Woodland Speeders) is offered; that course is about 0.5 miles and described as very flat.

Course and format

All distances start on the Pipeline Trail. At about 0.74 miles the 5K and 10K routes diverge: the 5K takes a shorter loop back to the finish while the 10K continues on a mostly flat, well-graded but rooty singletrack. Half-marathon runners complete the 10K loop twice. Trails are shared with equestrians, cyclists, and other park users.

Logistics and support

The event is cupless—participants must carry a refillable container. Aid stations provide Tailwind electrolyte drink plus fresh fruit, treats, gels, and gummies. Aid station locations are listed as 4.5 miles on the 10K; for the half marathon they appear at 4.5, 6.5, and 11 miles. Elevation gain is given as approximately 200 feet for the 5K, 700 feet for the 10K, and 1,400 feet for the half. Parking is at the Soaring Eagle lot or on the south side of E. Main Dr; vehicles parked on the north side may be towed. Registration closes the day before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
