Course details
All distances begin on the Pipeline Trail. At about 0.74 miles the 5K and 10K routes diverge: the 5K follows an abbreviated version of the 10K loop, while the 10K continues through mostly flat, well-graded but rooty forest tread. Half-marathon runners complete two laps of the 10K loop. Elevation gain is listed as: 5K - 200 ft, 10K - 700 ft, Half - 1400 ft. Trail users such as equestrians, pedestrians, and cyclists may be on course during the event.
Aid, services, and logistics
Aid stations are placed on course (10K: 4.5 miles; Half: 4.5, 6.5, 11 miles) and provide volunteers, Tailwind electrolyte drink, fresh fruit, gels, gummies, and other treats. All Evergreen Trail Runs events are cupless; participants must carry a refillable container. Packet pick-up, parking near the trailhead, and race-day operations are managed by the organizer. Parking is primarily street parking along the south side of E. Main Dr near 26015 E Main Dr; parking on the north side may result in towing. Online registration closes the Friday before the race.
Additional notes
A free Kid’s Race of about 0.5 miles is offered; parents may run with children. The event acknowledges that it takes place on lands historically inhabited by dxʷdəwʔabš (Duwamish) and Coast Salish peoples.
