Rattler Trail Races
Rattler Trail Races take place on April 17, 2027 in Palmer Park, Colorado Springs. The event offers multiple distances:

- 50K
The courses use Palmer Park singletrack and showcase sandstone bluffs and rock formations with panoramic views of the city and Pikes Peak. Trails are technical in sections while overall elevation change is modest; the highest mapped point reaches about 6,598 feet and the 50K course shows roughly 3,838 feet of cumulative elevation gain.
Logistics include a packet pickup the day before at Colorado Running Company, 5262 North Nevada Avenue #140, Colorado Springs, and race day packet pickup at the start area in Palmer Park. Runners must present a photo ID to receive a packet and entries are nontransferable. Runners are required to attach the timing chip to their shoe to receive an official time.
Aid stations are cupless. Water dispensers will be provided at the start and finish and at every aid station so runners can fill bladders, bottles, or reusable cups. The finish line is at the same location as the start. All finishers receive a custom race shirt and a finisher medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
