Ramona Wine Country 5K

The Ramona Wine Country 5K is scheduled for April 18, 2026 at BackCountry Gardens in Ramona, California. The course runs on trail terrain with mud run elements and natural obstacles. Runners encounter hills, streams, boulders and similar features along the route.

The 5K is laid out as a 1.5 mile two loop course. A single loop option is available for those who prefer one loop instead of two.

A Charity Solo and Team Beer Mile follows the 5K. In that event participants drink four beers and run four 400 meter laps. The fastest individual or a team of two to four earns the top placing for the beer mile.

Registration includes a Ramona Ranch wine tasting, a finisher's medal, race swag, music from Ramona Radio, food available from Farmhouse 78 for purchase, and free parking. Ramona Ranch Winery is located across the road and offers the wine tasting included with registration. A portion of event proceeds supports the Operation Rebound program, which provides sports and fitness opportunities for veterans, military personnel and first responders with permanent physical injuries.
