South Bay 24 at Montgomery Waller Community Park

The event is held at Montgomery Waller Community Park in San Diego and takes place on July 24, 2026. The course is a 1.22 mile loop that combines trail, grass, and bike path surfaces. The loop is mostly flat with about 46 feet of elevation gain per circuit. The course will be run counter-clockwise. Completing 82 loops equals 100 miles.

The South Bay Social is a relaxed morning session limited to 50 runners, includes a finisher medal and does not include awards. A runner campsite area is available next to the course where participants may set up a tent or use a vehicle for resting and gear.

On-course aid is available throughout the full 24 hours and provides water, electrolyte drink, and snacks. Available foods include bagels, donuts, peanut butter sandwiches, potatoes and other carbohydrate options, pretzels, trail mix, cookies, popsicles, sodas, lemonade and iced tea. Event registration may include a pancake breakfast, race medal, shirt, and race photos. Belt buckles are awarded to runners who reach 100 miles.
