Race to Space - McMinnville
McMinnville, United States • 9 May 2026
Event overview
Race to Space is the 5th annual event on May 9, 2026, held at Linfield University’s Wellness Trail in McMinnville, Oregon. The event offers multiple timed formats: 12-, 8-, 6-, 3-, and 1-hour races plus a 4-loop relay for teams of 2-4 runners. A new Bingo Run option uses numbered laps; runners draw a number each lap and mark matches on their bingo card. Bingo races are offered with 10, 20, or 30 numbers. Profits from the event are donated to charity.
Course and logistics
Base Camp and the start/finish are at 57 SW Keck Drive, on an approximately 1.5-mile loop at the Linfield wellness trail. The surface is mostly dirt and bark dust with a few tree roots. The start/finish and aid station are located just off SE Lever Street on Wildcat Circle, near the parking area southeast of the Nicholson Library. Participants may set up personal aid stations or chairs along the course; vehicle access is nearby. The aid station provides water, an electrolyte drink, and a variety of snacks. Road shoes are recommended in dry conditions; trail shoes may be better if the course is wet. Participants are asked to arrive about 30 minutes before their event to pick up race bibs.
