Run for the Oaks - Left Coast Estate
Run for the Oaks is the 10th annual trail event held at Left Coast Estate on August 1, 2026. The event offers multiple course options and a post-event program of tasting, live music, and awards held in the Oak Savanna across from the tasting room.

The course is predominantly on rolling gravel roads and off-road trails, with some paved segments. Routes pass through estate vineyards and old growth oak savannas and are influenced by breezes from the Van Duzer Corridor. The setting includes restored and flowering landscape areas connected to a larger trail system on the estate.
All proceeds from the race, food and wine sales for the day are devoted to the Oak Savanna Restoration Project. The estate has over 100 acres of ecological compensation areas and 100 acres of old growth oak forest; the restoration project aims to remove invasive species, restore native oak habitat, and create a permanent wildlife refuge that improves watershed and habitat for native plants, birds, and insects. The project is partnered with federal and state technical partners.
