Run for the Oaks

Run for the Oaks takes place at Left Coast Estate in Rickreall, Oregon on August 1, 2026. The event includes multiple on site and virtual distance options and the course runs mostly on rolling gravel roads, off road trails, and short paved segments through the estate. The route passes oak forests, vineyards, and gardens and offers views of the Willamette Valley and cooling breezes from the Van Duzer Corridor. All proceeds from the race, and from food and wine sales for the day, are devoted to the Oak Savanna Restoration Project.

The Oak Savanna Restoration Project aims to restore and protect native oak savanna across the estate. Left Coast Estate has partnered with federal and state agencies to provide technical expertise and to support habitat improvements for native plants, wildlife, birds, and insects. Race entry benefits and race day services listed by the organizer include participant T shirts while supplies last, hydration stations, a GoVino wine glass and a wine tasting or glass of wine for participants, awards, professional chip timing, and free parking.
