Hagg Mud 50K/25K

  • 25K

Both distances start with a loop around the C-Ramp parking area and include short sections of single track. Runners follow an out-and-back on Sain Creek Road that contains the largest elevation change on the courses. The 50K is two counterclockwise laps around Hagg Lake on single track trails, while the 25K is one counterclockwise lap with a few short road sections.

Aid stations and on-course services are a central feature. The 50K route passes five aid stations, including locations by the Dam and Fenders Blue. The 25K passes two aid stations, located roughly 7.3 and 12.5 miles into the course. The registration fee covers on-course aid, a post race party with warm food and drinks, a complimentary parking voucher, a covered bag drop area, and warming or changing tents. Personalized bibs have an advance deadline.

The event is CUPLESS at aid stations, so runners should bring reusable cups or hydration gear for refills. The race includes waste reduction measures and recycling at aid stations and the finish. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each gender category, and all finishers receive custom Hagg Mud finisher socks.

The event includes an inclusivity and gender policy with separate results and awards for men, women, and nonbinary divisions. Financial assistance options are available through the Trail Mix Fund and ORRC subsidy programs to support wider participation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
