This is a cupless event; runners must carry a reusable cup, handheld or hydration pack. The race includes a covered bag drop area, warming/changing tents, a post-race party with warm food and drinks, and a complimentary parking voucher. Finishers receive custom Hagg Mud socks and the top three in each gender category earn awards. Multi-year finish awards are recognized via the Hall of Mud.
Trail relocation work is in progress due to bridge damage between Turtle and Gandolf's trailheads; multiple trail work parties are planned. Registration details note a personalized bib deadline of February 2 and a no-refund policy, with limited options for transferring from the 50K to the 25K.
