Course and race information

Mt. Tabor Park has a forested trail system made up of three trails: the Red Trail, the Green Trail and the Blue Trail that circumnavigate the hill. Both the 5K and 10K courses are hilly and use a combination of paved roads and dirt trails, which is why the event is called "Tar 'n' Trail." The 5K follows the Blue Trail, while the 10K uses all three trails. Trails are marked with colored ribbon or flagging (red or pink for Red, green for Green, and blue for Blue). Course monitors will be posted at major intersections. For the 10K, loops run in the order Red first, Green second and Blue third. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
