Beat The Sunset 50km is a 50 km multi terrain ultramarathon organised by Racing Line Running in Maidenhead, Berkshire. The event starts and finishes at the sports club near Summerleaze Park, Maidenhead SL6 8SP. Entries close 24 May 2026 and entry fees are shown between £63 and £65.

Race details

  • Distance: 50 km
  • Elevation gain: 235 m
  • Terrain: about 75% off road, flat single-lap route taking in the Thames Path, Jubilee River and the Green Way
  • Course: fully signed, chip timing and free live tracking; GPX file provided one week before the race
  • Aid: four checkpoints at approximately 10 km intervals; checkpoints will offer cola, water, and sweet and savoury snacks
  • Support: personal nutrition drop available and can be delivered to the 3rd and 4th checkpoints; massage available pre and post event; medical backup on site
  • Included: medal, race mementoes, free downloadable photos, prizes, toilets and feed stations; an onsite bar is next to the finish area
