Beat The Sunset 50km is an ultramarathon held on Saturday 30 May 2026 in Maidenhead. The event is a single-lap, multi-terrain course that follows the Thames Path, Jubilee River and the Green Way. The route is described as flat, with total elevation around 235 m, and approximately 75% off road.

Race details and practical information

The distance is 50 km. The course is fully signed and has four checkpoints spaced at roughly 10 km intervals. Chip timing and free live tracking are provided. Aid stations supply water, cola, and sweet and savoury snacks. Personal nutrition drops are allowed and can be delivered to later checkpoints. Finishers receive a medal and race mementoes; free downloadable race photos and prizes are included. Additional services listed include pre- and post-race massage, toilets, medical backup, and an onsite bar at the sports club next to the finish area.

Entries are open until 24 May 2026 and the entry fee is listed at about £63–£65. The venue is Summerleaze Park / NMCC Sports Club, Maidenhead SL6 8SP.
