Race the Ghost takes place on October 25, 2025, at Dryden Creamery, LLC on West Main Street in Dryden, NY. The course uses the Dryden Rail Trail: participants run 1.5 miles out to the marked turnaround called the Spooky Cone, then return to the creamery. All runners are timed. A finisher's treat is available at the creamery. Packet pick up is provided and awards are presented after the event. Shirts are available for purchase. The event contact is Happily Running. Registration and awards
Registration categories include youth entries and an Adult 5k Run/Walk. Kids 3 and under are free; there is a fee for ages 12 and under. A family option covers multiple household members with a single fee for up to eight family members. The Adult 5k Run/Walk offers pre-registration and day-of registration pricing. Award categories cover performance and costumes, including top runners in Male, Female, and Non Binary divisions, Spookiest Costume, Best Solo Costume, Best Couples Costume, Best Group Costume (three or more), and Most Creative Costume.
