RACE FOR THE GREENWAY 5K RUN / WALK takes place at Hallock State Park in Riverhead, NY. The mostly flat off-road 5K course weaves through parkland with views of beaches, vineyards, ponds, and forests, featuring loose gravel and grass underfoot. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome.

After the run, participants enjoy a wine crawl through the region’s vineyards, with proceeds supporting the Long Island Greenway and Harvest East End. Highlights include wine offerings at local wineries, participant shirts for online registrants, and wine-based awards for top finishers. A Kids Fun Run and a Virtual option are also offered.
