Race for Life Salisbury - Hudson's Field

The event offers two distances:

The venue is Hudson's Field, Castle Road, Salisbury (SP1 3SA). The start and finish are on grass within Hudson's Field. The route is a single lap and is mostly on cross-country type tracks with undulating hills and open views. Surfaces on the course include tarmac, hardstanding, grass, gravel and woodland. The route has inclines and declines with a reported maximum ascent of 147 m. In wet weather parts of the course, especially grass and woodland, may become muddy and slippery.

On-site arrangements include free grass parking within Hudson's Field with access via Castle Road, designated blue badge parking and drop-off within the event car park. Pedestrian access is via the main gates on Castle Road and Stratford Road. Public transport options cited include a local bus to Castle Road and a train station in Salisbury around a 30 minute walk from the venue. There are no electric vehicle charging points and no bike racks listed.

Facilities noted as available include refreshments and toilets. The event is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for pushchairs. Bag drop and showers are not available. A timed, lap format run along The Itchen Way in Winchester with a professionally measured, permitted course. Runners may complete multiple 2.62 mile laps up to ultra distance and receive a bespoke finisher's medal and aid station provisions..

Family friendly inflatable obstacle run in Bournemouth with untimed 2.5k laps, multiple distances, music zones, a finisher medal and water stations.

A community-organised road half marathon and multi-terrain 5K around Sturminster Newton on 2 August 2026, with water stations, marshals, a race T-shirt and finish cake. Online entries close 1 August; day entries possible if places remain.

A four-mile hill run in Westbury on 5 August 2026 supporting Brain Tumour Support, with 100% of entry fees to the charity, pottery mementos, prizes for finishers and best helmet, and specific accessibility and dog restrictions.
