The venue is Hudson's Field, Castle Road, Salisbury (SP1 3SA). The start and finish are on grass within Hudson's Field. The route is a single lap and is mostly on cross-country type tracks with undulating hills and open views. Surfaces on the course include tarmac, hardstanding, grass, gravel and woodland. Pedestrian access is via the main gates on Castle Road and Stratford Road. Public transport options cited include a local bus to Castle Road and a train station in Salisbury around a 30 minute walk from the venue.
