The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course held at Victoria Park, Warrington. The course is entirely flat and runs on a combination of grass and tarmac paths. The start line, finish line and event site are on grass; ground conditions may vary depending on recent weather.

Participants move through muddy obstacles that require climbing, crawling and sliding. Waves start every 15 minutes to manage safety on the course; groups should book the same wave. The minimum age to take part is 13 years. Separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are available for children aged 12 and under.

Practical details include free general and Blue Badge parking at Victoria Park, with approximately 50 m of mixed tarmac and grass from the Blue Badge area to the event site. Bus services 1, 1C, 1E, 11, 11A and 47 run directly outside the park. Warrington Bank Quay train station is about a 1.5 mile walk. There are no electric charging points or bike racks at the site.

Facilities listed as available include refreshments, toilets and parking. The event is not wheelchair accessible, is not suitable for pushchairs and does not have bag drop or showers. Accessibility support on site includes sunflower wristbands, trained Event Managers and BSL stage content via QR code. A minimum fundraising target is set at £50. Trail runs nearby

A hilly five mile trail and fell race from Rainow on the edge of the Peak District, taking in White Nancy and the Kerridge ridge. The event is pre-entry only, serves teas and cakes after the race, and donates proceeds to local charities.

A multi distance trail event at Brockholes Nature Reserve featuring 10K, half marathon, marathon and ultra options within a six hour limit. Entry fees vary by affiliation and two pounds per entry supports the reserve.

A summer evening charity run at Marbury Park with a 5k adult race and 1k kids' fun run, plus BBQ, bar, cake stall and music. Proceeds go to The Stroke Association and all finishers receive a medal.

A multi-distance running event at UCLAN Sports Arena in Cottam on Saturday 9th May 2026, using a 5K loop on the canal towpath and through Haslam Park. Distances range from 5K to ultra, with a six hour limit for the ultra.
