Race for Life Pretty Muddy at Mote Park is a 5k obstacle course event taking place on Saturday 04 Jul 2026. The course starts and finishes on grass, runs around the lake, crosses areas of cross country terrain and follows park paths. There are a few steep inclines and a series of climb, crawl and slide obstacles; marshals are on hand to assist and participants may skip obstacles if needed.

Participants must be 13 years of age or older. Entry fees listed are Adults £22.49 and Children £12.00, and there is a minimum fundraising target of £50.00. Start times are organised in staggered waves, with each wave beginning 15 minutes after the previous one. The main meeting point is between Mote Park Pavilion cafe, Maidstone Leisure Centre and the Mote Park Main Children's Playground.

On-site facilities include toilets, refreshments and parking. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs; showers and bag drop are not available and dogs are not allowed. Blue badge parking bays are available in the main Mote Park car park behind the children's playground. Public transport options are nearby, with the Mall bus station about 1 mile away and Maidstone East and West train stations within roughly 1.4 to 1.7 miles.

Registered participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a Race for Life medal on completion.
