Maidstone Pretty Muddy 5k

This event is a 5-kilometre obstacle course held at Mote Park in Maidstone. The course starts and finishes on grass, runs around the lake, moves through cross-country terrain and along park paths, and includes a few steep inclines. Participants will encounter obstacles that require climbing, crawling and sliding.

The event is for people aged 13 and over. A separate Pretty Muddy Kids programme exists for children aged 12 and under. The published entry fees are £22.49 for adults and £12.00 for children, and there is a minimum fundraising target of £50.00. A May sale code (FLASH30) offering a 30% discount on 2026 events is listed with an offer end date of 24 May 2026.

The main meeting area is between Mote Park Pavilion cafe, Maidstone Leisure Centre and the park’s main children’s playground. On-site facilities include refreshments, toilets, parking and bike racks. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs; dogs are not allowed. A Race for Life car park is provided on site with managed access. Electric vehicle charging is not available on site; the closest charging points are about 0.3 miles away.

A 50km ultra along the River Medway from Rochester to Tonbridge, mostly on marked towpaths and trails and passing three medieval castles. The event includes three aid stations, live timing, bag transfer and a strict nine hour cut off.

A point to point 30 km trail along the River Medway from Little Fant Farm to Tonbridge, passing East Farleigh, Teston Country Park, Wateringbury and Yalding. The course is fully marked with checkpoints, GPS tracking, provisions and a final..

A timed endurance event at Redbridge Cycling Centre where competitors run a 4.2 mile (6.7 km) loop every hour and must finish each loop within the hour. After extensive loops a final straight race decides the winner.

Community fundraising runs at Dunorlan Park offering 3k and 5k routes over mixed grassy terrain with some inclines. The event supports Cancer Research UK with listed entry prices and a minimum fundraising target of £50.
