Maidstone Pretty Muddy 5k

The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course held at Mote Park in Maidstone on Saturday 4 July 2026. It is organised by Cancer Research UK and has a minimum fundraising target of £50. Ticket prices listed are £22.49 for adults and £12.00 for children.

The course starts and finishes on grass. The route runs around the lake, through cross country terrain, and along the park paths, and includes a few steep inclines. Start and finish areas are located between Mote Park Pavilion cafe, Maidstone Leisure Centre and the main children’s playground.

Waves start every 15 minutes to manage flow on the course. Participants must be 13 years of age or older; there are separate Pretty Muddy Kids events for younger children. Marshals are on hand at obstacles and participants who need to skip an obstacle can move to the next one.

Onsite facilities include toilets, refreshments and parking, and bike racks are available. Blue badge parking bays are provided in the main Mote Park car park. Dogs are not allowed and the event is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs. Participants receive event materials such as a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a Race for Life medal on completion.
