24-Hour Multi-Terrain Endurance Race

The Spitfire Scramble is a 24-hour multi-terrain relay or solo race located in the London area. Participants complete a circuit that traverses land managed by the London Borough of Havering and Forestry England. The competition involves continuous running from midday through the night until midday the following day.

Participants can enter the race in several formats:

  • Solo
  • Teams of two to eight runners

Each lap covers a distance of 5.75 miles. For those competing in teams, only one runner is permitted on the course at any given time, and each runner must complete a full circuit before handing over to a teammate.

On-site amenities feature catering services, toilets, hot showers, and a sports massage service. Medical care and first aid are available throughout the duration of the event. Entry fees cover a timing system, race bib, parking, site security, an event T-shirt, and a finisher medal.

The race is open to participants aged 18 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
