Kingston and Kempton Park Pretty Muddy 5k

The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course at Kempton Park Racecourse in Sunbury on Thames on Saturday 04 Jul 2026. Participants climb, crawl and slide around a course designed for fun and fundraising. The event is for people aged 13 and over; Pretty Muddy Kids events are available separately for younger children.

The course surface includes a mixture of grass and hardstanding at the start and finish, and is largely on tarmac and flat. Small sections cross the racetrack, where the ground can be slightly uneven. Wave starts are staggered every 15 minutes to manage numbers on the course; groups are advised to book the same wave time.

Facilities on site include refreshments, toilets and parking. There is free event parking within the racecourse car park, blue badge bays, drop off access and bike racks. The nearest train station is Kempton Park Railway Station about 0.3 miles away and there are nearby bus stops. An electric vehicle charging station is located about 1.2 miles from the venue.

The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs are not suitable on the course. Sunflower wristbands will be available at the enquiries marquee and a QR code will provide British Sign Language stage content. Minimum fundraising target is £50 and participants receive event materials and a Race for Life medal at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
