Kingston and Kempton Park Pretty Muddy 5k

The event takes place on 4 July 2026 at Kempton Park Racecourse in Sunbury-on-Thames. It is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course where participants climb, crawl and slide around a muddy course. The course start and finish are on a mixture of grass and hardstanding; the main route is on tarmac and is flat overall, with small sections across the racetrack that can be slightly uneven.

Wave starts are staggered every 15 minutes. Participants must be 13 years of age or older to take part in this event; separate Pretty Muddy Kids events are available for children aged 12 and under. A minimum fundraising target applies.

There is free parking within the racecourse car park, with blue badge bays and drop-off access. The nearest train station is Kempton Park Railway Station which exits into the racecourse car park, and the nearest bus stop is The Avenue, about 0.3 miles away. Bike racks are provided near the north entrance and near the south gate, each with approximately 15 to 20 spaces.

Available on-site facilities include refreshments, toilets and parking. Dogs are not allowed, there is no bag drop or showers, and the event is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchair users. Organiser support includes sunflower wristbands, trained Event Managers and a BSL stage content QR code. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a finishers medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
